The strategic purpose of the National Sales Institute is to advance the professional recognition of the sales function and all those that work within this sector. Sales is arguably one of the most important functions in any business, yet, it remains one of the most poorly recognised from a professional sense. The National Sales Institute aims to bring about a change in both society and industry to raise awareness on the importance of this function through its research and education.
No. The National Sales Institute does not provide sales training nor does it teach anyone how to sell. Every industry sells in its unique way, and there are numerous sales training programs that are available. The NSI Qualification establishes a knowledge standard so that certified individuals are recognised as being professionals in their roles.
We value the input of anyone from within or outside of the sales function. We learn through listening to what people have to say and make it our focus to understand all our stakeholders. Submit your details from the Contact Us page to register your interest and we will be in touch.
Surprisingly No. There are many sales training programs available, however, as a education knowledge standard, no qualification or professional standard exists for the sales profession.
We believe that the sales function needs to be recognised as a critical and important part of organisations. Unfortunately, at this present time, sales continues to have a negative perception, and National Sales Institute wants to raise the professional perception of all people who work and choose to work in this function.
In order to establish change, we must first create awareness. We have established a 3 phase plan to organically create momentum.
Phase 1 is the deep awareness program, but getting the conversation out in the marketplace, we are able to spotlight the current state of sales in a relatable manner.
