This privacy policy outlines the information handling systems, procedures and guidelines of the National Sales Institute Pty Ltd. The National Sales Institute manages personal information with best practices enabling the organisation to better serve and create valuable products and services our customers and the community. We handle personal and sensitive information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 including the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act) and this Policy.
1. Key Principals
1.1 The National Sales Institute Pty Ltd and National Sales Institute employees must comply with appropriate Privacy Laws and regulations worldwide.
1.2 Personal Information must not be collected unless it is reasonably necessary for our business purposes.
1.3 We must at all times be open a bout how we collect, hold, use and disclose Personal Information.
1.4 Personal information collected by the National Sales Institute must be kept confidential and secure and must not be disclosed or used, or permitted to be disclosed or used, unless permitted by applicable Privacy Laws and National Sales Institute policies and procedures.

d. Religious beliefs or affiliations
e. Philosophical beliefs
f. Membership of a professional or trade organisation
g. Membership of a trade union
3. Personal Information-Collection
3.1 In Australia, the Privacy Act 1988, which includes the Australian Privacy Principles applies.
3.2 The Privacy Laws regulate the collection, use, disclosure, storage, access to, and destruction of Personal Information.
3.2 The National Sales Institute is required to collect Personal Information only by lawful and fair means. Where possible we will collect Personal Information required directly from person’s directly.
3.3 Personal Information may include a person’s Name, Photograph, Current and Previous Addresses, Telephone Numbers, E-mail Addresses, Employer and Employment details and History and as relevant a person’s purposes, preferences and interests as relevant to subscriptions, memberships or potential memberships and NSI qualifications or potential NSI qualifications with the National Sales Institute, and information we require to perform our services. Further information maybe collected with your consent in specific instances as notified to each person.
4. Personal Information-Use & Disclosure
4.1 The National Sales Institute may use a person’s Personal Information for the following purposes:
a. Provide products and services
b. Provide updated or new information about our products and services
c. Development of existing and new products and services
d. Maintain and update our business infrastructure and systems
e. Promote our other products and services to you
f. Collect payments and to administer a person’s account
4.2 In providing our products and services, or collecting and using Personal Information, Personal Information may be disclosed to third party organisations including:
a.Information technology service providers.
b.Conference organisers.
c.Marketing and communications agencies.
d.Mailing houses, freight and courier services.
e.National Sales Institute Legal, Accounting, Financial or other professional advisors.
f.Regulatory, Government and other authorities as required by law.
5. Personal Information-Security, Access &Correction
5.1 The Privacy Laws require that the National Sales Institute take reasonable steps to protect Personal Information held from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
5.2 Access to systems and databases containing personal information are restricted to persons approved by NSI leadership teams, these persons undertake training to understand the Privacy Laws, policies and procedures in which the data is governed.
5.3 Customers can also help to protect the privacy of personal information by keeping passwords secret and by ensuring that you log out of the website when you have completed your transaction. If you become aware of any security breach, please contact NSI personnel as soon as possible.
5.4 The National Sales Institute will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information if it is no longer needed for any purpose for which the information may be used or disclosed.
5.5 The National Sales Institute is not responsible for the privacy or security of third party websites including social media platforms that display NSI branding.
5.6 The National Sales Institute takes reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide: NSI recommends that persons:
a. Inform NSI personnel if there are any errors in Personal Information.
b. Keep NSI up-to-date with changes to circumstances.
5.7 Persons are able to access Personal Information that the National Sales Institute is holding, with some exceptions as allowed by law. Persons can obtain a copy of their Personal Information by contacting NSI and logging a formal request.
